YOUR NOVA WORKSPACE / THE SHORT TOUR
Good work.
Without the back-and-forth.
Bring the idea. Set the priority. Keep everything else here.
This guide is always available in How it works.
small steps.
One familiar rhythm.
QUEUE
Your next priorities.
ACTIVE
One request in production.
REVIEW
Your feedback, your call.
DONE
Approved and kept here.
01 / Create a request
Start with the outcome.
Select New request. Tell us what success looks like, add useful links and choose your reference files.
- Give it a clear title and one manageable outcome.
- Choose multiple files, then select Add to queue.
- Wait for confirmation. Your request appears in QUEUE.
If a file needs another try, the request stays saved. Keep the window open and select Retry attachments.
02 / Arrange your queue
Put your priority first.
Use the ↑ ↓ buttons on queued cards, or drag a card above another. Your first priority sits at the top.
- Find the request you want Nova to work on next.
- Move it up in QUEUE. The order saves automatically.
Nova moves work into ACTIVE. Reordering never adds a second production slot.
03 / Explore projects
See the bigger picture.
Select Projects, then open a project to see its brief, requests and progress. Nova breaks larger ideas into manageable pieces.
- Open a request to follow that piece of work.
- Select Show project on board to focus your view.
- Use Add a request when that project needs something else.
All project requests share the same subscription queue.
04 / Reply & attach files
Keep the conversation close.
A Needs your input badge means Nova has a question. Open the card and select Reply to Nova.
- Write your reply and choose any reference files.
- Select Send reply & attachments.
- Once everything is confirmed, you return to the board.
Uploads show progress, then Confirming saved file. A file is only saved after that confirmation. Errors keep your draft open.
05 / Review & approve
Make the final call.
Open a card in REVIEW. Preview or download the files marked Final deliverable, then tell Nova what you think.
- Select Request revisions and describe the changes. It returns to QUEUE.
- Or select Approve work when you are happy. It moves to DONE.
Reference files and final deliverables are labelled separately. Approved files stay available in DONE; work is never auto-approved.
06 / Manage your subscription
Stay in control.
Open Account → My Subscription for your plan, status and the actions currently available to you.
- Pause when you do not need production. Resume when you are ready.
- Use Account Details for your saved onboarding.
- Sign Out ends the session on this device. Client Login on the public site brings you back.
Pausing or inactive service keeps your existing work, queue and feedback accessible. Nova only activates production when paid service is active.
A LITTLE MORE DETAIL
Here when you need it.
You do not need to learn everything today. Come back to this page from How it works at any time.
How do active days and pausing work?
A verified purchase provides 30 active UTC calendar days. The confirmation date is Day 1, even if partial. Dates begin at 00:00 UTC. Pausing counts the current active date and forfeits its remaining hours; fully paused future dates preserve unused days. Resuming counts that UTC date once, even after repeated pauses and resumes that day.
A zero-balance resume stays inactive until payment is verified, with renewal eligibility deferred to the next UTC midnight. Your subscription page shows your current permitted actions.
What does cancelling renewal do?
It stops future automatic renewal and preserves legitimately paid unused days. It does not automatically pause service. An already processing payment may still complete.
Which files can I attach?
Images (including WebP), PDFs, Office documents, supported design source files, ZIP archives, short video and audio, up to 25 MB each. File previews are available for supported images, video and audio. Other files download. Never include passwords, access keys or card details.
Can I add more requests or invite someone?
Add requests while another is active. Nova produces one request at a time across all projects. Each subscription has one customer login; additional seats and invitations are not available.
How do I get help?
Reply in the relevant request, or email hello@novastudios.co.za. For another browser or device, use Client Login to request a fresh single-use link to your verified purchase email.
